Jana Hunt


Jana Hunt's art practice encompasses both drawing and oil painting. She is currently working on her Artefact Series. Jana is also currently working as an art tutor at Kur-ring-gai Art Centre and is a resident artist at May street studios.

Jana's work "Back Chat" is a selected finalist for the Waverly Art Prize.

Jana's work titled "Artefact 910804/2" is a selected  finalist for the Adelaide Perry Drawing Prize 2011. The exhibition will open on 25th of February and concludes on the 27th March. The exhibition is at the Adelaide Perry Gallery, Croydon.

Jana has been selected as a Dobell finalist with her work "Artefact-910804". The Dobell exhibition can be viewed at the Art gallery of NSW until January 30th 2011.

Jana won the 2010 Hunter's Hill Art Prize with the work, "Meditation on St Peters". The work, "In Her Day" was also included in the exhibition.
